Compensation:
$120,000 - $135,000 annually
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt level roles.
About the Role:
As the Sr. Operations Manager II, Multi-Warehouse, will play a vital role in the overall success of a region by leading operations to achieve performance goals and OKRs. You will be responsible for overseeing regional operations while coaching, mentoring, and directing site leaders. You will also be responsible for your regional P&L, leading logistics oversight, and focusing on process improvement. Additionally, you will ensure safety in the warehouse(s), including being a champion of OSHA compliance and appropriate reporting.
Responsibilities Include:
  • With a hybrid approach, build, motivate and develop high-performing teams of managers, supervisors, and associates to deliver an advanced level of quality, speed, and service in all daily activities
  • Coach, train, and guide site leaders for career progression; and manage performance to foster a high-performance and positive work environment.
  • Use data and collaborate with the Senior Director, Launch Network to identify and execute process improvements for the operation. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are crucial for optimizing performance and addressing challenges.
  • Generate programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery success, and safety in our warehouses
  • Champion and take ultimate accountability for key cross-functional and network-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Create, foster, and maintain strategic relationships with appropriate stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and driver partners.
  • Champion OSHA compliance and drive a culture of safety
  • Lead through the values of team up, drive impact, take ownership, solve bigger, obsess over experience, and make today count
  • Work cross-functionally to hire, retain, coach, and develop leaders within the region
  • Lead efforts to significantly impact efficiencies and scalability in warehouse operations
What You Bring:
  • 6-8 years experience in warehouse operations management, including multi site experience
  • Minimum of 4 years leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports 6+ years of complex logistics operations, including warehouse, inventory, and last-mile delivery experience
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Flexibility, innovation, and the ability to manage leaders, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Tech proficiency and advanced analytical skills--experience with Excel/Google sheets (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Physically able to stand for the duration of the shift, move boxes up and down, including bending and frequently lifting (up to 50 lbs required)
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Preferred:
  • Has Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Start-up/tech experience- proven ability to navigate ambiguity, working in an entrepreneurial environment
