As a Quality Manager, you will develop and manage Quality Assurance programs and activities that will ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices. The Quality Manager will integrate quality assurance into all functions and people.

• This highly visible, plant-floor position reports directly to the COO. The role involves overseeing the quality team and collaborating closely with the manufacturing team.
• The Quality Manager facilitates quality initiatives as a ‘hands-on’ leader, engaging with the team as well as cross-functional leadership throughout the facility.
• Oversee all Quality processes, including raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods inspection.
• Oversee quality control tests, quarantine procedures, and label control.
• Own the development, review, maintenance, and improvement of quality operations documentation, including SOPs, protocols, instructions, templates, and related tools.
• Investigate, conduct root cause analysis, and design CAPA for quality defects, nonconformities, deviations, and customer complaints.
• Lead and mentor the Quality team, training, and setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.

• 4+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality/testing role including 2+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), record-keeping, and the ability to develop procedures as needed.
• Ability to adapt to evolving objectives, deadlines, and priorities.

• Active OSHA compliant Forklift Certification.
• Technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop or assembly work.

• Must have the ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at close range on associated engineering drawings.
• Ability to don personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, respiratory protective equipment with proper seal, coveralls, ear protection, gloves, eye protection & safety helmet.
• Ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine malfunction warnings.
• Ability to communicate information so others can understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Must report to work reliably and with the ability to use full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute your job.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
