About This Role:

ShopThing is a dynamic live shopping marketplace that connects top brands with a passionate community of sellers and customers. We’re building something truly unique: an interactive marketplace that connects people with the brands they love, offering incredible deals in real-time. It’s not just about shopping—it’s about creating an entirely new experience.

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for design who’s excited to create engaging content that connects with our customers. This is a 4-month contract role with the possibility for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and curating content across social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Design graphics, templates, and visual assets using Canva
• Brainstorm fresh, creative content ideas that align with our brand and marketing campaigns
• Support the scheduling and posting of content through social media management tools
• Be willing to appear on camera to create engaging content
• Monitor social trends and suggest creative ways to engage with our customers

Requirements:

• Completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Canva
• Must be available to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM with the ability to work in office Tuesday-Thursday
• Looking to hire this role as soon as possible, so available to start.
• A strong eye for design, visual storytelling, and aesthetics
• Comfortable being on camera and engaging directly with customers through content
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment creating content in short timelines
