About This Role:

ShopThing is a dynamic shopping marketplace that connects top brands with a passionate community of sellers and customers. We’re building something truly unique: an interactive marketplace that connects people with the brands they love, offering incredible deals in real-time. It’s not just about shopping—it’s about creating an entirely new experience!

What You'll Do:

Content Creation

  • Be the face of ShopThing: film, edit, and publish short-form video content daily (Reels, TikToks, Stories) with a focus on fashion, lifestyle, and viral trends.
  • Develop engaging storylines, voiceovers, and visual hooks that stop the scroll and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce trailers, teasers, and live content for app events and upcoming campaigns.
  • Jump on relevant TikTok and Instagram trends quickly, adapting them to fit ShopThing’s voice and audience.

Social Media Presence

  • Upload product stories on Instagram, showcasing new products.
  • Maintain a consistent, engaging presence across Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  • Engage with our audience: reply to comments, answer questions, and represent ShopThing’s community voice.

Growth & Strategy

  • Pitch and test new viral content formats weekly, with an eye for what’s trending and what drives conversions.
  • Align content with events, and marketing campaigns to maximize impact.
  • Track and analyze content performance, using data to inform creative decisions and iterate for stronger results.

Who You Are

  • Comfortable on camera — you love being in the spotlight and know how to engage an audience with confidence and authenticity.
  • Content obsessed — deeply immersed in TikTok, Reels, and fashion/lifestyle creators; you understand what’s trending and why.
  • Creative storyteller — skilled at translating products into entertaining, relatable, and shareable content.
  • Marketing-minded — you think like a strategist, always connecting content back to the customer journey and conversions.
  • Agile & fast-moving — thrive in a high-volume, trend-driven environment with tight turnarounds.
  • Detail-oriented & organized — sharp with captions, posting schedules, and tagging accuracy.
  • 1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or influencer/brand collaborations. Experience with editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.) is a plus.
