ShopThing is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team! In this entry to mid level, full-time position, you will be the key player in ensuring that our order fulfillment process runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll assist with the entire journey of our products—from receiving to shipment—ensuring accuracy and quality at every step. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their operational skills in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Receive orders for shipment with precision and adherence to quality control standards.
• Shipping Lead: Lead shipping processes, ensuring timely shipment and prioritization of shipping queues.
• Product Authentication: Support in validating the authenticity of incoming products through authentication tools to ensure compliance with authenticity standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect orders for damages, losses, or defects, and promptly notify the appropriate channels
• Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by keeping shelves and workstations tidy and following safety protocols.
• Logistics Support: Assist with the otherwise day-to-day operations of our busy fulfillment centre, ensuring timely processing and delivery of orders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a stock, warehouse, or fulfillment setting (especially in luxury/apparel) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 25 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and repetitive movements.
• Flexibility to work 35-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with potential weekend hours during peak periods.
